Prize-winning poet Gale Burns is a London writer in residence at Kingston University, where he has taught Creative Writing. He convenes the long-running Shuffle poetry series in London, and was a 2012 Hawthornden Fellow. He is widely published with three pamphlets and his collection Mute House is out from Eyewear. His work has been translated into French, Romanian, Slovenian and Arabic, and he often performs here and abroad. He was until recently the Vice-President of the European Association of Creative Writing Programmes and in 2017 was awarded a Special Prize at the International Literary Festival in Indjija, Serbia.
